Compacting the sports is a nonstarter.....

in my opinion. The overlap for multisport athletes, outside travel team obligations, access to facilities, etc., etc, would make it a pretty high bar to clear. In the end the result as best would probably be a lot of mediocre offerings with most kids and fans being frustrated.
